At Signal : thats typical of India

I was coming to office this morning .... at signal there were two men on bike. bike looked brand new, one of the latest models of Bajaj.
Driver looked dashing.. with silver bracelet in hand... long thick chain in neck..
His right hand finger was red colored, must be a God devotee who did pooja... as i was thinking that he was so spiritual, there he spited his mouthful of Gutaka- a flavored tobacco.
It was so weird to see these kind of people who keep themselves clean N neat but cant keep the surroundings clean..Thats seen at every signal in India a very disappointing to say ...
At the same time they want call themselves conscious & sophisticated..
Conscious for praying god n Believing him but not taking care of their own country..

If one has to stay here... one ha to have hope... hope with betterment... & improvement at everyones end.

Have a hopeful week !!

Design

Hie...

I was trying some graphic designs. But this time it has very commercial purpose.. this was for my Uncle. He has his resort in kokan. He arranges lot tours for kids in summer & winter vacations, also for youngsters & old ones.
He has come up with real nice concept, for kids. This concept is meant for those Fast life(Mumbai) Parnets, who dose not get enough time, to spend with their kids.
He is gonna take all kids, to different places to
pacify their inquisitiveness.
So the design & punch line were made accordingly, Bright colors are used which gets associated with kids... here is the copy :

A bitter One

It was Saturday, I was late & wanted to reach to office soon, Shantanu dropped me half way & there I picked up ric... (Rickshaw). The driver was an old man must in his 70s. He had grey hair & wrinkled skin; he was wearing brown lining shirt & brown pant. From his appearance, he looked like from that rich class. I thought its circumstance must have made him do this.

I got into ric hurriedly, I forgot to check whether he put meter or not. Respecting his age,I asked him very humbly whether he put meter or not … he shouted back. I again, kept cool asked him why he is shouting…. He kept quite. He moved on. I had told him the road; he tried to act smart, by following his way. I stopped him, again he gave back. I was just telling myself... ‘Keep cool’! & journey continued, half the way he again took diversion, I tried explaining him, but he was in no mood to listen, he kept on shouting, he went up to the extent that he said he will not have any business because of me. I really lost my temper finally gave him my peace of mind.

My argument was not about the road or meter, I would have given him ten rupees extra but it was about the age & respect.

If someone is giving you respect, one has to acknowledge it & should not take advantage of the respect.

Anyway this was real bitter one... to experience!

thats life....

Maturity - Determination -Honesty - zeal to become famous...

Its time to write ... it was tempting from morning to jot down what was coming down in head.. Finally got time now...

I was reading Pune Mirror, A newspaper which comes along with Times Of India. I like to read it because it is much informal & connects easily..

There was article on star from XXX Industry... porn star, rather it was conversation with her alike interview...
It was very interesting to read that out...( I am sure.. few eyebrows up there ;) )
I know, it might sound bold to few Indians, who do not talk about it rather prefers to play hide & seek game (ya! No one is seeing me, I can read this stuff or I can look at it ;) ) .. but because, it gave different thought...
She chose to work in this industry by her will not by force,
Her brother saw her snap in porn magazine... & her parents gave her option ... she left her parents at age of sixteen & went to Bangkok.
Now at the age of 21, she is back to attend a party… there is her story in detail which left me with lot of thoughts & different prospective.

One thing was very prominent to perceive… there is maturity, determination, honesty, zeal to become famous...
Maturity to understand where it would lead her & at what cost… At the cost of breaking those family boundaries & go head with what one wants…
It is not a question of right or wrong... It differs from individual to individual... but what is important is to know what is right for me & go head with it…
Determination, to get it at any cost & honesty to say it boldly.

& I wondered most of us want to hide from our family, if we smoke, drink or go for movie… for that sake lot more things which our family box does not allow us to do!

That’s another bold side of life too!

A freezed Head

I need a soap to clean.. made said.. & there I gave her the brush..
time moved &
I added sugar twice in milk.. (I said to Shantanu I thought of making it bit sweet... ;) )
I prepared breakfast but forgot to eat.. (It was hot gobi parathas...yummy! )
Came to office n forgot my notes...
Time moved & it was more... I was writing on file where i wanted to write International wrote Internation...
I thought it happens..
Went home... I opened the door & was opening the lock again..
thats called freezed head.. & I laughed.. (this freezing process started last night when I wrote post.. where I meant LIVE, I wrote LEAVE.. & Nilabh.. told me to spell check. )

but still its good feeling.. when you do all that & still give enough space to you to laugh over yourself..

The chocked head is much heavy & nice to feel... when everything is freezed inside... everything is moving fast outside... outside looks so different..
When I think of it.. it gives metaphor of computer which say Processing ....
I am still processing ...

Have freezed week end!!

At My End...

Hello...

Its pretty long time, i have written something... its been very hectic life... enjoying a lot as there so much learn.. na na this time i am not going to talk about any experience but rather i want to write about myself...
I am living very happening life.. there so much of fun.. there is tension, heal lot of responsibility, laughs, gossip, pain, anger.. u name the emotion & i am living it everyday... what else i could ask from life?

ya! sometimes i wonder did i ask for it? but yes! i did think of this masala life... not that melo drama but still... i am loving it!

sometimes it sounds like robotic life.. like up get up in the morning.. cook, clean home, find a time to do exercise.. than get ready.. take fast break-fast, than run to office...go through the work.. & probably late afternoon realize oh need to take lunch.. than meetings.. work... come late night.. cook.. eat .. sleep & than there is so much happening parallel..so much masala to make this life "yo" .... someone need ur shoulder to cry.. someone has complaint against you.. someone want to crib... & then there are dialogues... & drama.. what masala life.. a typical hindi movie style.. ... anyway...

I have finished a small wall hanging... my camera has met with a small accident, so it is hospitalized since last 3 months ... & till shantanu gets time.. to repair..
(He is IT man, too many conferences & deadlines...so no time) it will be hospitalized till than.. so till it get recovered i cant click snap put it on to blog...

I have also finished small dance sequence... but still need to work on it.. yet more to add to theme... I love dancing...

at the end of the day there so much contentment, what else u need...
that it for the day!!

Few Quotes which inspired me:

You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your

anger.-Buddha

To understand everything id to forgive everything.- Buddha

Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die. -Amelia Burr

A phone call...

It was seven in the evening, I was talking with students. There was call & from initial conversation, I thought it’s an inquiry… & then there were bundles of slang, filthy words… probably I never heard all, at one go & this was my experience to hear all with no reason… They were two or three together… from voice they sounded young boys … I gave phone to my colleague...

My head was freezed up. I wanted come over this situation fast. As I got back to my work, there was call again & this time my colleague gave his peace of mind to the fellow online.

I wondered, why was this call? But realized there can’t be answer to this kind of behaviors.

I was calm for pretty long time, thinking over it. It was weird to me... Of course would have been for anyone...

It is not that this kind of incidences does not happen but what matters is how well you are prepared to get affected by it.

At the other side, I was thinking I am not a college gal, single then why?
Followed by a thought, I have been hearing this, since I was kid, that woman can’t stay alone or manage alone…

Again, A Question, why there should be man to protect you? & why you have to get married, because you need someone to protect you? There were so many men around me, my colleagues, students, friends & my husband too, but no one can help this kind of situation... no one is to blame for it but then calling woman weak is wrong assumption I guess.

I think, every woman, single or married, working or student should be prepared to this kind of situation. At the end of the day, it does not matter whether you are rich or poor, educated or uneducated, high profile or not...

One should not forget this world is also of immorality, of evil; one has to understand & be prepared to know & handle this evil world… to be calm…. To survive at emotional end...

Palkhi... Destination....

The roads were blocked & people got stuck, that’s what the every year June’s scenario in Pune… its Palkhi time (Palanquins). And it as usual led to discussion between me & Shantanu (by now must be knowing… my husband, that means I assume u read my blog regularly :) ).

It took us, an hour to be at office & more than that to go back home. We can’t blame these warkaries for that, it’s the government who is lacking behind to take appropriate steps & control the problem causing the citizens.

There was discussion, whether the Palkhi should continue or not, or will it sustain into the frame of Globalization.

Lot of arguments & debate… the traditional way & modern. As usual I am stuck in between, its like Indian woman wearing Kurta over jeans. You want it & don’t want it too. Yes! It’s exactly like that!

Okey.. coming back to discussion...

There was a point, it is being blind belief on God, made you waste so many manly hours, which could be utilized in better way, somewhere thousand years back tradition is questioned. There is unity of people coming from different strata’s, caste, chanting the songs, bhajans, barefooted, with no distinction of class & money.
Wari makes all these to melt, to dissolve & bridge the difference.

There is nothing lost in these waries, & if lost the person who lost it, will get it back. There are people of different religion who get along.

There no much happening in crime world, could the people coming together & moving together will help reduce all these.... The materialistic world, attracting each one everyday, to catch dreams, have made us loose, patient. It’s that hush, run & quickness of aspiration probably, led us forget the harder way. I think the Palkhi teaches us so much to be patient, loyal, and consistent & to be one as country. To prove united we stand.

Here are few snaps I took from Akhlaque's (My Colleague) Mobile..

Warkaries moving ahead...

People from different class coming together..

That was really senti.. granny & grand pa!

Grannies & grand pas with bags...

Age & bag does not matter...but just a wish to walk

Flag to add on ....

Its Resting Time... the couple which are on left side of tree were, well prepared shoes, water bottle... & spirit!!

This you will see commonly.. people distributing something or the other to the warkaries.. this man was giving ladoos..

Few gave tea, coffee, few breakfast, few snacks, few lunch & dinner & few fruits... Few give umbrella, bags...

City People, who are not the part of the wari finding their way to reach destination...

& Wari finding its own destination... at different levels... mental, physical, emotional & spiritual!!

Have cool week end...

Shruti-"Be Human!" (Series on people-Human Kind)

Hey... This is another person from Series on People- Human Kind.....
I dont have her snap, will post it later...

She is sweet & beautiful. Bubbly chubby & cute- Shruti

Shruti, she was our neighbor in our previous home. She is fond of my mother,& use to hang in my place for hours together. She must be in her 4th std, when I met her first, Very bold & talkative. She use to fill our home with talks & dance & sometimes shouts… I became kid along with her, we use to do lot of mischief. Being with her was so charismatic that, many times I forgot I had to get back to my work...

We came close during my sis wedding, me & mom, real busy in doing wedding preparations… (Ah! It was typical Indian wedding... Full of dance, masti, gifts, food). Shruti use to hang around with us… quite lot... To help us out. [That’s what she use to say to her mom ;) ]

She is very talkative, she use to talk about her mom, dad, her twin sis Shravni- Shravni, physically handicap… abnormal child... But very sharp at her emotions...

Sometimes, I wondered whether, her parents ignored our darling doll Shruti.

Shruti moved on with everything… a care, love n affection for her sis… at cost of her beating & disturbing her studies, sometimes tearing books...

What more could be expected out of a kid I thought! She knew, to move on, along with all this…

One incidence took over everything , she was hanging around as usual , late afternoon, my Granny, offered a five star bar, Shruti very bluntly told her, that give another. It was a silence for a second & mom told her that its bad habit to ask for another (ala bla….. as usual typical of mom’s) she listened to all & just said, “I want it for Shravni, other wise take this back”, for moment it was pin drop silence, we were shocked…& She continued, I share everything with her...

What a satisfaction, she carried, when another five star was given to her...

That’s true human I thought...

Maturity at this age… that was to learn from her.

As time moved, there was a gap, eventually we shifted & we hardly met each other. I got married & busy… I met her hardly & heard of her from mom...

There was Diwali & I was there, all sudden this babe landed up along with her parents, to show their new car & take us on drive. She insisted us to come for a drive.

I was standing out of car & listening to her talks… & suddenly, she held my hand. She complained to me, that I have become quite & not talking much…

That was surprise, a small girl must be ten years old, was so observant that she could recognize change in me....

The maturity & mischief always goes hand in hand when it comes to her. & most amazing of all was she keeps calling us to just check how we are doing… like an old granny!

As Shobha taught me so much, so did Shruti, she taught me to be altruistic, humble & polite. Above all she taught me to be human.

Its Indian Performance

Hie..
hmm after long weeks... Was really busy at office.... so did not get much time to write...
we faced so many difficulties at this end...I am writing on it & will post it soon..

It was one of the busy day of the week in the office… there was sound of drum bits... I always get fascinated towards these stuffs like sounds, shouts & fights ... (My colleague… calls it Panchayat)
but I don’t mind... Yup its typical woman attitude, but I don’t mind it.

But it’s certainly not that I want to know, what is happening at other end, perhaps there is loads of observation stored. When two people are fighting, it’s not about there fight but about their expressions, action & reaction. That shows much of cultural &; social impact… that might be difference among people from different strata & regions.

Okay… I want to say something else here... that happens when sociologist look at I guess… So I was talking about the drum sounds.

I went to window; there was old man who was biting the drum. There was something full of feathers dancing on the beat. It looked like bird so of course it was catching attention of passerby. As music stopped, this feather cover wearing boy got out of it, folded it & than went across to collect money… hardly, few paid him other walked away … reason no one knows…

There is old man behind playing drums

This is boy wearing feather cover & dancing

There is plate with some coins...

Thats another pose...

Boy now removing the cover

(My students clicked the snaps which made me jot down these lines.. Thanx to Anup & Tanmay. Anup for giving his mobile to click snaps & Tanmay for clicking!)

(This was handmade stuff)

There I thought, might be this is India that why people don’t want to pay him. In America, England or for that sake in another country, if someone shows the magic, dance or plays music on street then he or she will get some reward for it & can earn some money for bread & butter. Why we like watching that on TV & appreciate it? Why we pay them there & not here? Could be we get attracted to the jazz & boldness behind it... & these people have rural look? I get these question in mind... Might be you will have different opinion....

What is wrong to appreciate this kind of talent?? I think its just matter of prospective!!

India being so much full of art & creativity….

Let’s inherit & appreciate it,rather then let it perish.

Let’s be proud of art & proud to help fellow human being, who is giving something in return than those beggars who have made begging a business.

Let’s enjoy the art & enjoy the satisfaction of helping fellow human being & be thankful for giving opportunity as viewers to help them out!

Religion called Humanity

I learn so much every day, life is real teacher. I lived in my own illusions so long, I thought!

As time demands, we have to be adaptable for change, let it be in adapting values, culture, thought (of course, which we agree upon... not a forcible adaptation!) to some extent we are doing that but still we are so much jammed in our thinking, in religion so much…

as sociology student, I have read so my thinkers, these thinkers, have drawn their own perceptions of connection between Society & religion.

Recently, funnily enough, I came across so many incidences.

Sometimes I go to beauty parlor, near my office. The owner is decent lady, but talks a lot… other day, she introduced me to her daughter, & she started with with my name & my caste & sub caste, as we shared same religion. It was so much astonishing, for me that people just not only are stuck up with religion but also with caste & sub castes….

Later followed by another incidence, which I don’t want to mention here…

But what was shocking to me or rather it broke my own illusions that people are still so much stuck up with These Manly Created Religions & Castes…
I thought, at least educated class of India, who is moving head to adapt new technology, culture have still stuck up with the castes & religions…

In my view, One has to understand... there is only one religion called Humanity & one caste called fellow human being to reach concept called spirituality!

Time Factor... Never Give Up

Time is what we want most, but... what we use worst. ~Willaim Penn

One must learn a different... sense of time, one that depends more on small amounts than big ones. ~Sister Mary Paul

Thats so true!

Here, I am with Personal experience & Fault..
Fault of not making my students understand importance of time...
(even though I did)

But there is yet so much to learn from whole experience..

Have a cool weekend!

Relations...

Hello... After weighty days ... was really busy...
A thought which was pondering over & over again... Na...Na not a big one... Small post... Here I go...

Relations a very long long subject to talk on… These were thoughts which flew in mind… (A personal connection to it too ;))

Relations are very chaotic in Indian Middle class; heal lot of expectations, duties, obligations, & responsibilities… just not at emotional end but also at monetary end.

I am sure, this is the case, with every Youngster who is trying hard to build career & aspiring for better life… at the end they land up in frustration... some escape to other country with varied reasons… & some struggle with a hope, that ‘this will improve’ One day, people will understand…

Hmmm!

I think, relations should be like a house, each room is independent but still combined… every room is meant for something & successfully completing roll to call it house.

Why cant relations be like this?

In the fast moving world, there is different set of requirement … for people to recognize… & stand by each other to create a better world & better relations to live better today N tomorrow!!

Have a fresh week!! What could be more better to end with fresh flowers...

Dad killed Aarushi:Cops

"Dad killed Aarushi: Cops" That’s was the news in Today’s Times.

Dad Killed Aarushi...???... Sounds weird... Could be truth... Or could not be... All of us, are left with so much of doubts in mind... why? Who? How? & so much..
I don’t want to talk about emotional sentiments behind... I think most of them are doing it, through comments, that’s what I saw on TV yesterday. Every News channel, showing the news, with latest updates, with interviews of experts. The experts were talking about changing world, relations, psychological state, mentality, Family pride. There were comments about cops being corrupted by NGOs... Ahhhh! So much!!
I don’t want to talk about them & their discussions!
One thing was noticeable to me... India is changing, its pretty unpleasant it is happening this way. (Rather, it is this kind of incidences making it noticeable more...I would say, a negative way) It’s not in context of relation, cultural but an approach.

An approach, of being individual. If what cops say is truth than, he, her Dad never wanted his Daughter to interfere in his private life. But he choose wrong way.

Again... I don’t want to talk about this should not have happened.. But it is obvious... This should have not happen....
But yes! it is more disturbing!
We Indians, being so much close knit families, trying to be westernized. We are getting so much attracted towards the freedom... Freedom is too big to phrase... I think! But yes! its Freedom...
Freedom attracting us... The show, of you can do whatever you want... Eat, drink, sleep, talk, get in relations... whatever... whatever... Comes under freedom...
In haphazard way, we do not understand or rather we are forgetting what are consequences of it what will be reaction? Is our society so much open to all this? Can I make it "My Way"? Where our culture is leading to? Why the westerns can go with it? How they deal with it??? So many questions to answer...
we need to understand... All this...to go ahead... with protecting sentiments & lives... Because freedom does not mean... Taking away anyone's life...
I don’t want to end it this in gloomy way...
Freedom is to get free... & feel within... enjoy... enjoy life... to live & let other live...

Shobha-Keep going! (Series on people-Human Kind)

Hello,
Now, I am here with 'Series on people-Human Kind
First character of series Shobha-Keep going!
The reason she being first of series is simple, she is so much inspiration everyday...

Shobha-Keep going!

Her name is Shobha. She looks young. She works hard. She does work in nine houses. She also cleans one of the apartments. She gets up at four and sleeps at mid night around twelve. She is working since last 12 years! Pretty a long period.

She is my servant maid. She stays nearby my house and does good work. You tell her the work  and it will be done. People get jealous of me for getting good maid… (One can’t understand what makes people get J!?!?!)
She has mobile and whenever one wants to call her she is in reach. You here charming voice and she say, I will be there in ten min.(she is tech savvy!)
I never asked her about her family, she stays with her mother, brother. She is burnt. That could be her story, but I never wanted to ask her.
She started working with us since last six months, and She knows how to do her business, as she decided to work at our home, she told me clearly, I will take two leaves a month with prior information.(servant maid talking like this, not acceptable right? But mades are also getting Professional)
I never showed my affection for her (you need to learn from your past experiences) even though I am emotional and  get attached to anyone, but this time, I decided not to. We shared typical of give and take relation. She does work and I pay her for it. Tea a day and lunch on Sundays, sometimes breakfast also.
She never talks about anybody (no gossips). She is very humble.
Other day when we were talking she told me, “Vahini (that’s how she calls me, even though I told her to call me by my name), I know only one thing, my family is dependent on me and I need to earn, earn in good way and do good work.”
I was glad, that she did not crib that her brother or father does not work, she was clear, with what she wants and what she need to do for her house.
She only talks about her work and sometimes of her nephew, he is fond of her. She talks about flowers and trees. She likes flowers and sometimes she buys one for me. Sometimes, gives cooking tips, sometimes make a different curry. She is always ready to learn, updates herself with changing world. Just not work but she is  also aware of etiquette and manners.
She has to walk from our house, nearly 1.5 km. for another work, I drop her sometimes and when she gets down, she does not forget to tell me to go slow on my way with  Bye  and smile of gratitude.

What is catchy, she never bothers in what is happening in home, nor does she want anything from us, no food, no clothes but if you give her she takes it with smile!
She is my inspiration to write, because, I learn so much from her everyday.
Basics of all is, there so much to life, you just need to have prospective.
There is so much to learn from her, but I learnt something very well is Consistency! and  spirit of keep going!
Even though there are challenges and difficulties in life, you need to keep going!
Even though, they (society, people) blame you, you need to keep going!

Even though they harm you, you need to keep going!
Even though you are left alone, you need to keep going!

Even though nothing is with you, you need to keep going!

Have steady Day!

Art and Entertainment

Hello ...

Yup! Here I am with the discussion I mentioned, in my early post. It was pretty long discussion, between me and Shantanu (my Husband).
To understand sociology is layman term, Sociology is all about society and  whatever we feel, believe, adopt comes under ‘society’ is pure study of the subject.
Ok! Now, coming to Art and  Entertainment.
Art and  Entertainment... Much spoken subjects at different level, but they are much correlated concepts.
Art is a process and Entertainment is medium to enjoy the process. Art as process plays a bigger role.
Entertainment is requirement, want of Human, whereas Art is inherited or Learn able process, one has to ‘like’ doing it.
Art to call it Art has to be ‘entertained’ by Human to come to its true value, what makes a monument great creation, OR music to call it charming. It is been ‘entertained’ by someone, for it to reach that valuable position.
Even though Art being process, it could be seen in any form, dance, music, cooking, painting, decorating as we understand. But here is another view, living Happy life is very much part of Art (I am not follower of any group or thinker!) . If that can be Art than walking, riding bike also is form of Art.

A controversial observation, every Art has its target. Let’s look at example, a good painting, has to reach its audience to enjoy it. The target is its Audience, and than their liking.
Similarly, the riding bike is also an art. It is destination which can’t be the target of Art. Than whats the target? Could be duration or route? Subsequently one of it could be entertainment. To be more accurate, the enjoyable part of it is reaching the destination, in particular time, with easiest way, or riding bike logically to reach in time, on crowded road. All this will be Art and  so entertained.
I don’t want to hurt sentiments, of anyone when I am writing about sex (it is still, not openly spoken subject in India). In recent readings I found that, sex is language of love. But before that, I think, it is art. Art to perform sex, ultimate aim or target is physical satisfaction. In mythological terms it would union of two soules to one!
But it is for entertainment! (I know this would lead to controversy... but yes! this is another point of view to this! )
Art is ongoing process; target will differ from individual to individual.
Let’s consider, Art and Entertainment in Indian context. Art is tradition to India. An ruler or king who with is unique method ruled the dynasty, war or trade. The methods these king use to win the war. Here, Art now merges into a sense of achievement and pride with entertainment.
Similar to industry, equipments, Arts and  technology also impacted with concept called Globalization or westernization. ‘Art’ term its self took new reach, sometimes invisible one! Entertainment is also getting affected to a great extent.
Entertainment much felt and viewed arena.
In India, few years back it differed from women to men.
At initial stage, Women enjoyed celebrating festivals or meeting at home. Later added with shopping and  hoteling. Now, they join up men, in disco or pub over a drink and smoke.
For men it was not much difference, I guess, except women joining them ;)
Disco, where many people dance that dance is also a form of art. In that sense, the partner is not treated as object but performer. Partner completes the from of art. Similar could be case with a drink, which is social taboo for women in India.
The Art and entertainment will differ from strata to strata. Each class has their own requirements.
The collaboration between Art & entertainment is so much invisible. It is much arguable also. Both end up having the target & vision to look a head!
To conclude, it is matter of prospective to see & feel!
We have to find out the right difference between Art & Entertainment. Then we should be able to optimize our creations to achieve right balance between these two or use Art as a process effectively & to develop innovative ways use new technology as new entertainment medium. How can we make the Art as a process stronger by using new technology entertainment medium?
This also opens up another door to discussion. Indian Media/ TV industry …are they using their Process (Art) & the (Mediums) Entertainment effectively...I guess not.
Thats was my view!
Have a Artful Day!!!

Live up to what you want: A rich beggar

An observation and a thought to inherit.
‘Live up to what you want’.

Title sounds ironic right? But yes! It’s true. This beggar is real rich man.

He is village man thats how I thought of him, when I saw him first. No one will ever identify him as beggar... He is old man, his age must sixty and above. Dressed up in white kurta (which has pockets in front to keep stuffs... typically tobacco pack is kept there and some money) and white doti. That color is not that white... But a faded one... It has touch of soil could be that’s what I thought he is village man. He is wearing cap – typical Maharashtraian cap. He has one hand bag and a saffron colored flag to prove he is devotee. Devotee of god…. His eyes were weird and  his voice is hoaxing.
He is healthy man... No disease not a handicap.
He sits exactly down stairs-below my office... he begs on one of the Busy Street of City.
He has made a place for himself. His bag is well equipped to fight any season... as he has plastic to cover up in rain and monkey cap in winter. Here was 1st sign of lavish beggar, who is so prepared for natural calamities. Who is lavish in his world...

He has unique begging style, when ever he needs food he begs, otherwise he sits quietly. He calls people whenever he is hungry. The unique  begging style catches attention of people.

By then, I had developed strange feeling. His presence bothered me. He never begged in front of me, but once I had offered him food. He took it happily. Now, as I served him once, He wanted me to serve him again and again... He kept starring and begging at me. I ignored him but when ever I looked at him, he use to call me and ask for food. I ignored him... Cautiously.
I saw him once at food joint nearby. He was asking a lady not to buy him daily meal but to buy “Two Vada Paves”, there was something unique about this beggar, and he has demand. Here is second one, yup! He is lavish beggar.
This was puzzle for me- beggar demands what he wants to eat?
As time passed I saw in while passing through. It generated curiosity about him. His eyes always looked strange. He also gazed at me.
He use to disappear in between for weeks and than come back as if he owned the place and people who did feed him.
Once as usual he disappeared... I was bit relaxed, his weird eyes and voice gave me break… I was very happy to hang out down… and move on the street.
One fine evening, when we were coming back to office, an Auto stopped in front of office building. I did not bother, my colleague made me look at auto... I was surprised to see the picture.
This beggar got out of Auto paying meter bill… he came back settled to “His 3 by 5 sq.ft”place.
He was true lavish beggar indeed!
I thought over his behavior all over again. It gave me a weighty feeling always. Then I recognized that he was above all beggars, who were begging for survival. There are of course few beggars who have good bank balance (I have heard this from people) but they are an exceptional.
People like us struggle in societal boundaries to do what we want to do, Sometimes it takes a shape of fear, shame or embarrassment.
He being beggar is living with his own aspirations of being lavish in his small world...and  truly he is living up to what he wants in life…

I thought writing 'Series on people-Human Kind ' will be easy... sometimes it is difficult to note down Feelings and observations. But daily writing something, keeps me reminding of a promise to myself  to write series.

Un- tear able Mask

Is it the world of show off I wonder?? Is it the mask people wear?? I was with so many such questions... as I was there...  Earlier I was always the observer-An outsider.  But this was for the first time I was amongst them.
It was very subtle feeling as it grew... . Is it just to earn those lacs for my growing business...I also need to wear that mask? Mask of show off! Show off of your knowledge, your standards, your money and of course of your Business. Mask off high fondu talks? Or that loud stylish laugh?
Those polished talks and those selfish eyes looking in you to grab situation and check if you can get few lacs… to fulfill needs. Needs to keep up those polished shoes, branded clothing, heavy mobiles, & dazzling visiting cards... Which might be in someone’s dustbin…
I felt so filthy, why it can’t be just plain business? A deal? A plain money exchange? Why one needs to be so sugary, which one deserves, not for that mask, but for that sincere work?
Is this a world of Business?? If yes!! Then why person like me is welcomed?? I am welcomed bcoz  there is one chair vacant and also a mask... This has to be there on face, to be there in so called Business world… to make my business grow... to earn those required lacs…
Yes!! If I want to be here... I wonder do I? Of course I also need to earn those lacs not for that show off but yes to do pure Business a mere exchange !! To fulfill a vision... to develop true potential... To make them grow... So to make me grow and make my country grow!!

Preface

Its all about Humankind..
People who are around.. their understanding and perceptions.
The way they live, eat, read ,enjoy and understand life...
I am an observant..love to interact with people...

I am very much part of the society and get affected with happenings...
I am going to write series about the people around me.These are people who came from different backgrounds. Its about their struggle, their ups N downs and  still creating 'Unique Identities'... which leave foot prints behind....
Few know me well and  for few I am just Acquaintance, I dont know much about them but that small interaction has left mark.. sometimes an inspiration, sometimes peace, a thought and sometimes joyful meet....
